My Story
I never know where to begin when I have to share my story. Do I start with my life growing up? College? My adult life? There are so many chapters that have formed who I am.

In short, I am a mom to amazing twin toddlers. I have been married to my husband for over five years, but I've been with him for over 15 years {one might say we're high school sweethearts}. I'm also an elementary teacher--I teach 3rd grade at a Title 1 school. This is my 8th year teaching, and what a wild year it is! I love teaching in a Title building because I feel like I'm really making a difference in students lives.

But, while I am all of those things above, I am also a crafter and enjoy DIY projects. I grew up helping my dad in his workshop and my mom is a fiber artist. I suppose creating is in my blood. I have recently become obsessed with a Cricut and I enjoy making all the things I can.

I also really enjoy baking and trying out new recipes. I wouldn't call myself a health nut, but I have becomes more aware of what I'm putting into my baking since I've started making food for the twins. Don't get me wrong, we love a good pizza or mac & cheese night...but I have become more conscious about all the extra sugars and salts added into foods.

One last thing: I'm an awful speller. The best thing I have done to learn more about spelling is become a teacher (the year I taught kindergarten was great because they really had no idea about my misspellings)! So please forgive me if you find a typo.
