Let's talk leggings. These have become a staple in our closets in the past 10 years and I've FINALLY found a couple that I love, but wont break the bank.
I feel like there are at least 2 types of leggings: leggings that can be dressed up and worn to work, and legging to workout/lounge around in. To be honest, I haven't really worked out in either of these brands that I'm going to recommend, but they are super comfortable and I don't think they would be problematic for working out.
Since it is winter I'll start with my new favorite discovery: fleece-lined leggings. While I'm all for online shopping, I'm really here for the same-day curbside pickup. I'm not one to buy clothes at Target very often (no judge against them, I just don't find stuff that matches my style much). BUT these leggings....they aren't even fleece lined. They're VELVET lined (so it was super amazing I could buy them and pick them up right away).
Enter, Wander by Hottotties leggings. I own them in the green and black. I sooo wish they had them in a navy, but sadly, they do not. They do come in a gray, but I'm not much for gray leggings, so that is the only reason I don't own them.
I've told all my friends about these. I do have to point out that there is a downside to them: they pill (mostly around the ankle). That doesn't deter me (and I mean, for $15, what am I expecting). I just decided to invest $13 in a Fabric Shaver (which I had been wanting for while). If you're sitting around and want to be warm, I highly encourage you to check these out.
My other favorite pair of leggings I discovered right at the beginning of the COVID shut down. I lived in them all spring and most of the fall (I could have worn them all summer, but it's too hot around here for me to wear pants). It almost feels as if you're wearing nothing. They're thin, but not sheer (so no worries about your skin showing through).
Ok, enough suspense, here they are: the Aerie Real Me leggings. I own these in navy, green and black. One of the navy pairs I have has pilled a little around the ankles, but the other 3 pairs are in great shape. I suspect all of their "Real Me" leggings feel as comfortable and weightless as the High Waisted ones.
What are your favorite leggings? Am I missing out on something I need to know about??!
