This is one of my favorite dips to make. I got this recipe from a teacher I used to work with. Every time she would bring it, it would be gone before you even knew it was there. It got to the point where she would tell me it was in the fridge before she sent out an email announcing it was in the lounge. So, total props to her for this recipe.
Typically, I would make a large plate of this, but since it's 2021 and just the two of us watching the BIG GAME tonight, I made a small plate.
Ingredients:
4-8 oz Cream Cheese (I like to get the Neufchatel cheese just because it has less fat, but it doesn't really matter)
5-10 oz Olive Tapenade Hummus (really any flavor will work, but this one is the best in my opinion)
1 Cucumber
Kalamata Olives
Banana Peppers
Feta Cheese
Tomatoes
Directions:
Spread cream cheese on the plate (use as much or as little as you want. I like a thick spreading). This has always been the hardest step for me (just to spread it evenly).
Spread hummus on top of that. Again, use as much as desired.
Cut and deseed a cucumber. Chop pieces as large or small as you'd like
Half or quarter Kalamata olives. Again, use as many as you'd like
Roughly chop some banana peppers
Add a handful of crumbled Feta cheese
Add a couple pieces of tomatoes (optional)
Eat with pita chips, pita crackers, or veggies!
