I don't know if it's because I'm in my 30s now, or if it's because the world is going haywire, but I have found myself craving all the information I can get the past couple of years.
My morning routine starts with me washing my face and listening to current events podcasts. For the last year or two I have started every weekday morning listening to The Daily, a New York Times podcast. I like how it is a main story, but they always end the episode with "Here's What Else You Need to Know Today" section.
Recently, I've added in another morning podcast to keep up with all the craziness happening: NPR's Up First. I've actually started listening to it first because it's typically only 10-15 minutes and covers all the basics.
If I'm looking for some more in-depth political information, I'll listen to The NPR Politics Podcast. I like how straight and to the point the information is.
And if I REALLY need more info and don't mind some side talk, I'll listen to Pod Save America. I find the hosts entertaining and informative (although, their ads do seem to go on fooorevvver.)
Do you listen to news podcasts? What are you favorites? Please share because I'm always looking for more!
